Motability Scheme
Like our partners at BMW and MINI, elms Direct is a committed member of the Motability Scheme. Since 1977, this collaboration between the government, charitable sector, insurance industry and car manufacturers has been improving the lives of disabled motorists.
If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement then you are eligible for a new motor vehicle in exchange for forgoing part or all of your benefits.
New Motability cars come with insurance, servicing, road tax and breakdown assistance included, in addition to any specific modifications you may require to drive the vehicle safely. You can also nominate one or two other drivers and be supplied with a new car every three years.
